ORDER
New Delhi, the 23rd August, 1982
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II^-SEC. 3(ii)]dated the 26th February, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the Industrial Undertaking known as Messrs Bresttord Elcciric (.India) Limited, Calcutta was taken over under clause (a) of. sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of six months upto the inclusive of 25th August, 1979 and the Andrew Yule & Company Limit- ed, Cslcutitt WHS authorise to take-over the management of the cuid industrial undertaking ;
And, whereas, by the Ordeis of the Government of India in the Ministiy of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No. S.O. 47fi(E)/18AA/lDRA/79, dated the 22nd August, 1979, S.O. "No. 637(E)/18AA/IDRA/80, dated the 23rd August, 1980, No. S,O. l26(E)/18AA/LDRAysl, dated the 23rd February, 1981 and No. S.O. 9H(E)/IDRA/82, dated 25th February, 1982, the duration of the said Ordered was extended for a further period upto and inclusive of the 25th August, 1982;
And, wheieas, the Central Government is of opinion that il is expedient in the public inteicst that the said industrial undertaking should continue under the management of the Andrew Yule & Company Limited, Calcutta for a further period of six months;
Now, therefore, in exercise of [he powers confencd by sub- section (2) of section 18AA of the said Act, the Central Gov- ernment hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 25th February, 1983

No. 5(14)/78-CUS] S.O. 612(E)/18FB/IDRA/82 — Whereas by two Orders of the Government of India in the Ministiy of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 124(E)|18FB| IDRA 79, dated the 5th March, 1979, No S.O.130(E)|18FB| 1DRA 79, dated the 9th March, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said Orders), the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18FB of tht> Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), had declared that the operation;, of all contracts, assurances of property, agreements, settlements, award, stand- ing orders or other instruments, in force immediately before the dates of the issue of the said Orders, to which the in- dustrial undertaking known as Messrs. Brentford Electric (India) Limited, Calcutta waa a party or which might be applicable lo- the said industrial undertaking, should remain suspended for a period upto the 25th August, 1979 and that all rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising thereunder before the said date should remain sus- pended for a period upto and inclusive of the 25th August, 1979;
And, whereas, by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No. S.O, 477(E)/18FB/lDRA/79, dated 22nd AUjusi. 1979, No. S.O. 638(E)/18FB/IDRA/80, dated the 23rd August, 1980, No S,O. 127(E)/18FB/IDRA/81, dated the 23rd February, 1981 and No. S.O. 99(E)/18FB/IDRA/82, dated the 25th February, 1982, the duration of the said Orders was extended for a further period upto and inclusive of the 25th August, 1982;
And, who ess, the Ccntial. Government is satisfied that the duration of the said OrdSrs should be extended foi a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 25th February, 1983;
Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) read with sub-section (2) of section 18FB of the Industries (Development aDd Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby extends the duration of the said Orders upto and Inclusive of the 25th February, 1983.
