O,N. 84(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by ?ub-section (1) of section (22 of the Representation ot the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby directs th it Ihc following further amendment shall be made in its notification No. 44/TN/79(2) dated 23 October, 1979, relating lo the iippoinlment of Assistant Returning Officers for Parliamentary Constituen- cies in the State of Tamil Nadu, namely :—
In column 2 of the Table appended to the said notification, for the existing entry against Serial No. 25-Periyakulam parliamentary constituency, the entry "District Supply Officer, Madurai", shall he substituted.
