the Centra) Government, being satisfied that il is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts the goods specified in the Schedule annexed hereto when imported into India from—

(i) the whole ol the duty of customs leviable thereon under the First Schedule to the C usloms Tai iff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975); and

(li) the whole of the additional dutv leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act.
