S. O. 6l7(E).—Whtreas the land, building etc. mentioned herein in the schedule below arc lequired for the purpose ol Constiixlion
of Metro Railway and works connected therewith in the city of Calcutta.
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the land, building, etc. refeucd to in the Schedule below a it lequncd
for a public purpose.
The Central Government do, therefore, hcieby decline thoir intention to acquue the land, building, etc. lelened to in the schedule
below in terms of the powers confened on them under Section 7 (0 of the Metro Railways (Construction of Woi ks) Act, 197.X (Act, 33
of 1978).
Any person interested in the land , building etc. tcferred to in the schedule below may, within twtjihciic t'a>s d un ire date ol yi bli-
cation of this notification, put up objection, if any, before tbe Competent Authority as piescribcd under Section 9(1) ol the Act
Schedule showing the land, building, etc. is required for the purpose of construction of Mctio Railway and other woi ks connected
therewith for Calcutta Metro Railway.
