G.S.R. 539 (E).~In evcrcisc of the poweis uonferred by sub-section O) of section 25 of the Customs Au, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, beitiK satisfied that it is necessry in Lhe public interest so to do, hereby mt.ke? the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Department of Revenue and Banking No. 213-Customs, dated the 2nd August, 1976, namely :—

In the said notification, for the words and liguies "medical contraceptives, plastic contraceptives and rubber contraceptives, falling within Chapters 30, 39 and -10 respectively" the words and figures "all types of contMcrptives falling within Chapteis 30, 39, 40 and 90" shall be substituted,fF.
