S.O. 649(E)/18FA/18AA/IDRA'/82.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry ot Industrial Development No. S.O. 128(E)/18FA/18AAiIDRA|73, dated the 5th March, 1973, the Central Government had authorised a body of peisons (hereinafter referred to as the authorised person) to take over the management of the whole of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Krishna Silicate and Glass Works Limited, Calcutta, for a period of five years from the 5th March, 1973.
And whereas by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No. S.O. 146(E}/18FA/18AA|IDRA|78, dated the 3rd March, 1978 No. S.O. 145(E)/18FA/18AA|IDRAj80, dated the 5th March, 1980, No. S.O. 144(E)/81, dated the 4th March, 1981, No. S.O. 685(E)/18FA/18AA|IDRA181, dated the 4th September, 1981, and S.O. 123(E)|18FA|18AA/IDRA/ 82 dated the 4th March, 1982, the Central Government autho- rised the authorised person to continue to manage the said industrial undertaking for further periods upto and inclusive of 4th September, 1982.
And whereas the Central Government, being of the opinion that it was expedient in the inteiest of general public that the authorised person should continue to manage the said industrial undertaking, made an application under the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18FA of the Industries (Deve- lopment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), to the Calcutta High Court praying for the continuance of such management for a further period of one year.
And whereas the said High Court, by its Order dated the 2nd September, 1982, permitted tlw authorised person to continue to manage the said industrial undertaking for a further period of one year.
And, now in exercise of the powers conferred by the pro- viso to sub-section (2) of section I8FA, read with section 18AA, of the said Act, the Central Government hereby directs the authorised person to continue to manage the said indust- rial undertaking for a further period of one year commencing from the 5th September, 1982.
