2 THE GAZETTE OF 1NDTA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)](3) that the importer executes a bond in such' form and for such sum as may he specified by the said licens- ing nulhoiity binding himself to fulfill the obliga- tions and conditions stipulated in thus notification and to pay on demand, an amount equal to the duty leviable on the said raw materials and com- ponents us arc not proved to the satisfaction of the said licensing authority to have been used foi the aforesaid puipose ; and
(4) that the importer produces evidence to (he satts- laction of the said licensing authority, foi the pm- posc of dischaiging the liability in icsoJCt of cus- toms duty as well as for discharging the obligations against (he said licence.

No. 210/82-CUSTOMS
G.S.B. 560(E).—In exercise of thv powers confened by aub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 19ft2 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts raw materials and components required for the rrKiuitac- ture of goods to be supplied to International Development Association or International Bank for Rcconstiuction and Development or Bilateral or Multilateral aided projects, when imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act. 1975 (51 of 1975) and the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act subject to the following condi- tions, namely:—•
(1) that the importer has been granted ne'essaiy im- port licence or release order on the concerned canalising agency by the licensing authoiily as specified in the Import (Control) On'<;r, 1955 1or the import or release of law materials and compo- nents for the aforesaid purpose ;
(2) that the import licence contains the following en- doiscments inter-alia :—•
fa) the description, quantity and value of raw mate- rials and components allowed to be impoitfd under the said licence ;
(b) the description and quantity of raw materials and components allowed to bc imposed duty free; and
(c) the description and quantity of ^oods to bc manu- facturetf out of, or with, the impoifed materials.

G.S.R. 56I(E).—-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) lead with sub-section (4) of secnon 44 of the Finance Act, 1982 (14 of 198?), the Centi.il Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public intetest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 136-Ctistoms dated the 11th May, 1982, naiaelv :—
