NOTIFICATIONS

New Delhi, the 5th October, 1982G.S.R. 590A(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 33, read with section 34, of the Indian ' Ports Act, 1908 (15 of 908), the Central Government hereby directs that with effect from the day following the expiration of sixty days from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the following amendment shall be made in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport No G.S.R. 451(E) dated the 20th August, 1975, relating to the levy of port dues at the Port of New Mangalore namely :- In the Schedule to the said notification (1) 804 GI/82

In Horn I relating to Foreign vessels, for sub-ltem(b) and the entries relating thereto, the following sub-item and en- tries shall bo substituted, namely .—

G.S.R. 590B(E) —In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (2) and (1) of section 33 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908 (15 of 1908), tho Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment iri Part II of the First Schedule to th0 said Act*, with effect from the expiration of sixty days from the date of publication of this Order m the Official Gazette, namely :—

Under the heading "Western Group" in the entries relating to District of South Canara, against serial No. 105 relating to the port of New Mangalore, under the cate- gory of "Foreign Vessels" in column (1), for item (b), the following item shall be substituted, namely ,—

"(b) In the case of any other foreign ship or steamer calling at tho Port of New Mangalore not exceeding three rupees a ton "
