New Delhi, the 8th October, 1982
S.O. 721(11)..—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 5 of the Dock Worker* (.Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948 (9 of 1948) read with sub-rule (3) of rule 3 of the Dock Workers (Advisory Com- mittee) Rules, 1962, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri SubraU Mookerjce m a member of the Dock Workers Advisory Committee and make* the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry cl Shipping und Transport (Transport Wing) No. S.O. 650(E) date* the 2nd September, 1982 published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary), Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 6th September, 1982, namely:
'In the said notification under the heading "Members representing the Dock Workers", aftei item number 8 the following item shall be inserted, namely :—
"9. Shri S'ubrata Mookerjee,
National Union of Waterfront Workers, Calcutta." '
