And, whereas, by the Order of Government of India in the Ministry of Industry No. S.O. 134{E)/18AA/1DRA/81 dated the 11th March, 1982, the period of the said two Orders dated the 13th September, 3974 and 18th July 1978 was extended upto and inclusive of the 12th September, 1982;

ORDER

S.O. 745(E)/18AAl/IDRA/82.—Wheicas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 542(H)/18AA/lDRA/74, dated the 13th SeptcmbtM, 1974, the Central Government had authorised a body of persons known Qs the Board of Management to take over the management of Amritsar Oil Woiks, Amritsar, a factory of the industrial undertaking known HS Amritsar Su"ar Mills Co, Ltd., Amiitsar, for a period of fivp years upto and inclusive of the 12th September, 1979;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Industry No. S.O. 454(E), dated the 18th, July, 1978, the said Board of Management was replaced by a new Board of Management for a period upto anil inclusive of the 12th September, 1979;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in 1hc Ministry of Industry No. S.O. 525(E)/l8AA/IDRA/79, dated the 11th September, 1979, the period of the said Ordcis dated the 13(h September, 1974, and the 18th July, J978, was extended upto and inclusive of the 12th September, 1981;
And, whcrca"s, by the Order of Government of India in the Ministry of Industry No. S.O. 659(E)/18AA/IDRA/82 dated the 10lh September, 1982, the period of the said two orders dated the 13th September, 1974 and 18th July, 1978 was extended upto and inclusive of the 14th October, 1982, subject to the. orders of the Supreme Court in the Special Leave Petition filed by the Union of India against the de- cision of the Delhi High Court dated the 3rd September, 1982 in Civil Writ Petition No. 1410/1979 and the connected inter- locutory applications filed therein;
And, whereas the Supreme Court on the 4th October, 1982 has admitted the Special Leave Petition and stayed the opera- tion of the decision of the Delhi High Court dated the 3rd September, 1982 in Civil Writ Petition No. 1410/1979;
And, whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said two Orders dated the 13th September, 1974, and the 18th July, 1978, lespectively, should continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 15th April, 1983;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) ofi-^ection 18AA of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said two Orders dated the 13th September, 1974, and the 18th July, 1978, continue fo have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 15th April, 1983.
