G.S.R. 614(E) :—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neces- sary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempt edible oils, falling within Chapter 15 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), from :
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC 3(i)] subject to the conditions that— (i) the oil is donated as a gift free of cost; and(ii) the oil is supplied under an agreement which has been duly approved by the Government of India.
2. This notification shall be in fores upto ami inclusive of
the 31st October, 1983.
