NOTIFICATIONS
New Djlhl, the 20th October, 1982
G/.S.R. 618(E) :—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951), read with sub-rule (1) and the first proviso to sub- rule (2) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954, the Central Government, in consultition with the Government of Wast Bengal, hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, namely:—
1.(1) These regulations may be called the Indian Adminis- trative Service (Fixation of Cidre Strength) Eighth Amendment Regulations, 1982.
(2) They shall come Into force on tho date of their
publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Schedule to the Indian Administrative Service (Fixation of Cadre Strength) Regulations, 1955, for the heading "WestBcngal" and the entries occurring thereunder, tho following shall be substituted, namely;—
