2. The following amendments shall be made at appropriate

After the existing sub- entries No. 33(21), the follwoing new sub- entries shall be inser- ted :—

1. Export Houses and Trading Houses eligible to import ilic Items at S. Nos. 1 and 2 above against their Additional licences Actual Users (Industrial) eligible to import items at S. No. 2 under OG.L and REP licence-holders eligible to import these items under para 138 of Import & Export Policy (Volume-I), shall not be eligible in pursuance of this Public Notice, to import the said Items except to the extent of irrevocable letters of credit already opei:\1 and e-.ubll-.h-1 b / o rc tho diteof this public Notice.
4. It may also be clarified that by virtue of para 5 of the "General Conditions" in Appendix-17 at page 159 of Import & Export Policy (Volume-1) of 1982-83, REP licences shall not be valid for import of these items except if these items are speci- fically described for import in Column 4 or Column 5 against the relevant export product in Appendix 17 or against an Ad- vance/Imprest licence specifically containing these items.
