NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th October, 1982
S.O. 764(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 22A of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices Act, 1969 (54 of 1969) and subject to the conditions hereinafter specified, the Central Government hereby directs that the provisions of section 21 and section 22 of the said Act shall not apply to any proposal—
(a) for the increase in the production of any goods or the provision of any services which arc meant ex- clusively for export outside India ; or
(b) which relates to an undertaking established or pro-
posed to be established in a free trade zone.
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] CONDITIONS The undertaking or the authority making the proposal (ii) undertake to bring in promoters' contribution to the extent of not less than 20 per cent of the project cost; and shall :— (Ml) maintain the debt-equity ratio of not mow than 2 : 1. 2. This notification shall have effect for a period of fivoyears from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
(i) submit to the Central Government, for Jie purposes of record, a memorandum containing the details of the proposal along with a copy of their application made under the Industries (Development and Re- gulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951);
