G.S.R. 658(E).—In exercise of the poweis conferred by iub-section (1) of section 25 of the Curtoms Art, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in aupersc&sion of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart- ment of Revenue) No. 213/82-Customs, dated the 20th September, 1982. the Central Government; beinjf satislied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereb> exempts coffee, falling under Heading No. 1 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tunff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975). when exported out of India, liom so much ol the duty of customs leyiabla tSureon umter the said Second Schedule as is in excess of Rs. 446 per quintal.
