G.SR. 661 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1)' of Se:tion 156 of the Customs Acl, ly62 (52 of 1962), the Central Gove.nment hereby makes the following rules to wneni the Cu&ioms (Appeals) Rules, iy82, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Customs (Appeals) Amendment Rules, 1982.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette
2 In Chapter V of the Customs (Appeals) Rules, J982, Rules 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 shall be omitted.
