G.S It. (>S2(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 37 of the Central I.xcises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944\ ihc Cential Government hereby times the following rules further to amend ihe Central Excise Rules, 1944, namely :—•

1. (1) These rules may be called the Central Excise (12th Amendment) Rules, 1982.

(2) They shall come into force on the dnt; of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. Tn Chapter XII-C of (he Central F.xcis; Rules, 1944, rules 219 220 A 220B, 22flC, 220D and rule 220E shall be omitted.
