ORDER

New Delhi, the 22nd November. 1982

C.S.R. 713 (E);— Whereas it appears to the Central Government that it is necessary and expsiiiwit so to do for securing the equitable

distribution of the essential commodity, namely, fertiliser.

Now, therefore, izi swrcise of the power conferred by Section J of ihe Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), tho Central

Government hereby dirocts that the manufacturers specified in the- Schedule given below—

1. shall sell to the registered fertiliser dealers iu the States, Un'on Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said Schedule fertilisers of the description and quantity mentioned therein during the period 1st August, J982 to 31st January, 1983 at the rate of one-sixth of the quant/ty specified in the Schedule in the month, and

2. shall submit to the Central Government and the State Governments or Union Territories and Commodity Boards pertaining

to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of tha said Schedule a statement by 10th day of every month containing therein:—

(I) Tho quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in tho States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned

in Column 1 with the dates of despatch during previous month; and

(ii) The quantity of fertilisers which tho said manufacturers propose to despatch to the various dealers in the State¹!, Union Territories

and Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 in the succeeding month.
