G.S.R. 715(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 44 of the Finance Act, 1982 (14 of 1982), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amend- ment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 146/82-Custorm, dated the 11th May, 1982, namely:—¹

Inthe Table annexed to the said notification, for SI. No, 6 and the entries relating

thereto, the following SI. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"6. 56 Acrylic fibre falling un- der Heading No.^56.01/04Twenty-five per cent of the value of the goods as determined in accordance with the provisions of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962)."
