S.O. 84SKE) In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-soction (2) of section 5 of the Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948 (9 of 1948), read with the second proviso to sub-iule (1) and clause (e) of sub-rule (5) of rule 6 of the Dock Workers (Advisory Committee) Rules, 1962, the Central Government hereby appoints Shri R.S. Cooper as a member of the Dock Workers Advisory Committee vice Shri N.M. Mehta and makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Transport V> ing) No. S.O. 650(E), dated the 2nd September, 1982 published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (il), dated the 6th September 1982, namely :—
'In the said notification, under the heading "Members representing the emplo- yers ot' Dock Workers and Shipping Companies", in item 9, for the woids and letters "Shri N.M. Mehta", rhe words and letters "Shri R.S. Cooper" shall bo substituted,
