ORDER

New Delhi, the 22nd December, 1982

S.O. 857(E)/18AA/IDKA/82.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (De- partment of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 852(E)[18AA| IDRA|77, dated the 23rd December, 1977 (hereinafter re- ferred to as the said Order), the management of the indust- rial undertaking known as Messrs National Rubber Manu- facturers Limited, Calcutta, has been taken over for a period of five years upto and inclusive of the 22nd Decem- ber, 1982;

And, whereas the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said Order should continue to have effect for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of 22nd June, 1983;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the provision of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby" directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 22nd Jnne, 1983.

S.O. 858(E)/18FB/IDRA/82.—Whcicas, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment oi Industrial Development) No. S.O, 19O(E)|1SFB|IDRA| 78, dated the 21st March, 1978 thereinafter referred to as the said Order), Ihe Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by clause ib) of sub-section (1) of section 18FB of tile Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), had declared that the operation of all contacts, assurances of property, agreements, settlement¹!, awards standing orders of other instruments in force im- mediately before the date of publication of the said Order in the Official Gazette (othci than those relating to secured liabilities to banks and financial institutions) to which the industrial undertaking known as Messrs National Rubber Maufactureis Limited, Calcutta, or the Company owning such industiial undertaking is a party or which may be ap- plicable to "such industrial undertaking or company shall JC- main suspended for a period of one year and that all the lights, privileges, obligations and liabilities acciuing or aris- ing thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended for the said period ;

And, whereas, the duration of the said Order was further

extended upto 22nd December, 1982;

And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the duration of the sakl Order be extended for a further period apto and inclusive of 22nd June, 1983;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (2) of section 18FB of the Industries ^Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) the Central Govern- ment hereby extend the duration of the said Order for a further period upto and inclusive of the 22nd June, 1983.
