EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
Subject :—Scheme for exports under OGL-3 of certain made up items made from cotton, wool and mnn-made fabrics to Sweden from 1-1-1983 to 304-1983.
File No. 2(5J)|82-EL—This Public Notice h in continu- ation of Public Notice No. 41-ETC (PN)|82 dated 21st December, 1982. The provisions cf Public Notice No. 41- ETC(PN)/82 dated 2 ht December, 1982, shall also apply in the case of exports of certain made-up items to Sweden for the period from 1st January, 1983 to 30th April, 1983.
2. The Customs elenrance and a-rlifieation procedure will
be as follows :—
(i) CLEARANCE BY CUSTOMS
(a) Products under restraint.—Shipments will be allowed by Customs authorities at the ports of shipment for nil made- up items under restraint after verifying1 the certification of export entitlement on the original and duplicate of nhippicg bills for individual consignments issued by the Cotton Tex- tiles Export Promoiion Council or any other appropriate agency designated fir this purpose.
(b) HandJoom Prodocts.^ln the case of exports of hand- loom made-ups to Sweden, Customs will permit shlpmentt after verification of certification by the Textiles Committee as to lh& Handloom origin of the (joods.
(ii) EXPORT CERTIFICATE
The Export Certificate under the Indo-Swediah Textile Agreement will be issued by the Cotton Textiles Exports Promotion Council or any ether body duly authorised in thin behalf.
