S.O, 869(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Motor Vchiclei (Amendment) Act, 1982 (47 of 1982), th" Central Government hereby appoints the 10th day of December, 1982, as the dnte on which the piovisions of sections 8 and 9 of the said Act, shall come into force.
