S, St. 11(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it w necessaiy in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that the following amendment shall be made in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (.Department of Revenue and Insu- lance) No. G.S.R. 1716, dated the 19th July, 1969, namely :~
In the proviso to the said notification, for the words and brackets "the Passengers (Non-Tourist) Baggage Rules, 1960, and the Transfer of Residence Rules, 1969", the words snd figures "the Ba#s"ge Rules, 1978, and the Transfer of Reeidcnce Rules, 1978" shall be substituted.
