ORDER
New Delhi, the 7th January, 1983
G.S.R. 16(K).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Essen- tial Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government makes the following Order to further amend the Fertiliser (Control) Order, 1957, namely :—
1. (i) This Order may be culled the Feitiliser (Control) (Amendment) Order, 1983.
(ii) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Fertiliser (Contiol) Order 1937, for clause 19, the following clause shall be substituted, namely :—
"19. The State Government and/or the Central Government may, by
notification in the Official Gazette, appoint such number of persons as it/they think necessary to be Inspectors of fertilisers for the pur- pose of the Order and may in any such notification define the local area within which each such Inspector shall exercise his jurisdiction."
