O.N. 7 (E).— fii pursuance of sub-sections (1) and (2) of sec- tion 13AA of the Representation of tho PoJplo Act, 1950 (43 of 1950) and in supersession of its mtiflcation No- 508/MEG/77, dated 28th December, 1977, the Election Commission in con- sultation with tho State Government heroby—
(1) doiigaites for each district "it tho State of Mcghalaya specified IQ column 1 of the Table below the officer/ officers specified against it in column 2 thereof as ths District Election Officer/Officers for that district; and
(2) specifies the area in column 3 of ihe said Table in respect
of which each such officer shall exorcise jurisdiction.
