G.S.R. 28(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (i) of clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Major fort Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Ports Wing) No. G.S.R 5, 4(E), dated the 9th February, 1981, the Central Government hereby specifies the number of persons mentioned in column (2) of the Table below to be appointed by 1200 OI/82 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)

that Government to represent the interests mentioned in column (1) of the s"id Table on tho Beard of Trustees nf tho Port of New Mangalore.

2. This notification shall cune into force on the 1st day of

April, 1983.

In pursuance of the provisions of sub- clause 00 of clause (c) of sub-soction (1) of section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), and in supersession of tho notification of tho Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Ports Wing) No. G.S.R. 55 (E), dated the 9th February, 1981, the Central Government hereby specifios the number of persons mentioned in column (4) of the Table below to be elected by each of the bodies, to represent each of the interests, shown respectively in the corresponding entries in columns (2) and (3) of tho said Table, on the Board of Trustees of the Port of New Mangalorc :

Provided that in the case of tho body mentioned against each of the serial numbers 4, 5, and 6 of the said Table, being owned or controlled by the Government, the persons to be elec- ted by each such bsdy shall bj appointed by the Central Govern - ment.

2. In pursuance of sub-section (4) of section 3 of the afore- said Act, the Central Government hereby specifies the period ending with the 28th February, 1983 as the period within which the election of Trustees shall be held.
