Sub :—Indian Rupee Value of the Special Currency Basket for the pur- poses of contracts entered into under the Deferred Payments Proio- col dated April 30, 1981 between the Governments of India and the USSR relating to the deliveries of machinery and equip- ment from the USSR to India on deferred payment terms.
File No. JPC/23(16)/81.—Attention is invited to the Ministry of Conv mere* Public Notice No. 35-ITC(PN)/81 dated 15th July, 1981, No. 55-1TC (PNJ/81 dated the 29th October, 1981 and No, 37-ITC(PN)/82 dated the 3rd August 1982 on the subject mentioned above.
2. It Li hereby informed that in pursuance of para i of Appendix to the above mentioned Public Notice No. 35-ITC(PN)/81 daled 15th July, 1981, the Reserve Bank of India have further revised the Indian Rupee Value of the Special Cuirency Basket as indicated below:—
Rs. 10.5878 with effect! from 31-12-1982.
