NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 17th January, 1983
S.0.15 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (a) of clause 2 oi the Jute (Licencing and Control) Order, 1961, the Central Government herebv appoints each of the officers of the State Government of Assam specified below also to exercise the powers of the Jute Commissioner under items (a), (b) and (c) oJ sub-clause (1) of clause 11 of the said Order :—
1. Director of Agriculture —Assam 2. Additional Director of Agriculture —(Hills) Dlphu 3. Additional Director of Agriculture —(General) Assam 4. Zonal Joint Director of Agriculture —Kokrajhar/Nowgong/
Tezpur/Jorhat/ Silchar, 5. Joint Director of Agriculture (Marketing) —Assam 6. Cash Crop Development Officer (Jute) —Assam 7. Joint Director of Agriculture (Jute) —Assam 8. All District Agricultural Officers —Assam 9. All Sub-divisional Agricultural Officers —Assam 10. All Agricultural Extension Officers —Assam
Explanation : Each of the above official shall exercise the said powers within their respective territorial jurisdiction as notified by the Govern- ment of Assam.
