ORDER
New Delhi, the 19th January, 1983
S.O. 28(E)/18A/JDRA/83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Indusliy (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 583(E)/18A/lDKA>/77, dated the 23rd July, 1977 (hereinafter referred to aj the naiil Order), the management of the whole of the Industrial undertaking .known as Messrs Priyalaxmi Mills, Baroda, Gujarat, was taken over under section 1KA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of five years commencing from the date of its publica- tion in the Official Gazette, and the- Gujarat State Textile Corporation wus authorised tc take over the management of the said industrial undertaking.
And whereas, by the Order of Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 521(E)|18A|1DRA|82 dated the 22nd July, 1982, the period of the said Order was extended for a further ptriod of six months upto and inclusive of the 22nd January, 1983 ;
And, whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it h expedient in the public interest thai the said industrial undertaking should continue under the management of the Gujarat Slate Textile Corporation for a fuither period of six months upto and inclusive of the 22nd July, 1983 ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation), Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a fuither period of six months upto and inclusive of the 22nd July, 1983.
