New Delhi, the 25th January, 1983

8.O. S5(E).—In the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry

of Finance (Department of Economic Affair*) No. S.O. 854

20th December, 1982, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part H,

Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 20th December, 1982, below the heading

"DESIGNS", under each of the sub-headings "ONE "HUNDRED RUPEES''.

"TEN RUPEES", T WO RUPEES" and "FIFTY PAISE", in the second para-

graph relating to ''Reverse" face of the coin concerned, add the following sen-

tence at the end, namely :—

The year "1982" shall be shown in (he right lower periphery*.
