The following notification made by the President of India on the 29th January, 1983 is published for general information—
NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th January, 1983
S.O. 57(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (o) of article 371F of the Constitution, the President hereby extends to the State of Sikkim the enactments specified in the Schedule annexed hereto subject to the following modifications, namely : —
(1) Any reference iD the said enactment to a law not m foroe
or to a functionary not in existence, in the State of Sikkim shall be construed as a reference to the corresponding law in force, or to the corresponding functionary in existence, in that State :
