सा० फा० ति० 49 (अ) केन्द्रीय सरकार , भारतीय डाक घर अधिनियम, 1898 ( 1898 का 6) की धारा 10 और 74 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, भारतीय डाकभर नियम 1933 का और संशोधन करने के लिए निम्नलिखित नियम बनाती है, अर्थात्ः--
1. ( 1 ) इन नियमों का संक्षिप्त नाम भारतीय डाक घर ( द्वितीय संशोधन) नियम, 1983 है ।
(2) ये 1 मार्च, 1983 को प्रवृत्त होंगे ।
2. भारतीय डाकघर नियम, 1933 में,
(क) नियम 5 में सारणी के स्तंभ 3 के विद्यमान शीर्षक से स्थान पर "भूटान और नेपाल" शीर्षक रखा जाएगा ,
(ख ) नियम 5क में, सारणी के क्रम सं० 5 के सामने "भूटान , नेपाल और बंगलादेश " शब्दों के स्थान पर "भूटान और नेपाल" शब्द रखे जाएंग ,
(ग) नियम 5 के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित नियम श्रन्तःस्थापित किया आएगा, अर्थात्

" 5ख बंगलादेश के लिए डाक वस्तुओं पर प्रभार्य डाक महसूल की वरें जहां डाक महसूल का पूर्व संदाय कर दिया गया है, निम्त लिखित होगी, अर्थात्ः-
पत्तों, पत्र कार्यों, पोस्टकार्यों के लिए डाक महमूल की दरें, जिनसे अन्तर्गत प्रधिभार भी सम्मिलित हैं

(i ) प्रथम एक सौ ग्राम था उसके भाग के 0.15 ) इगो अनिरिका प्रत्येक 10 ग्राम के लिए लिए या
0.10 इसके भाग के लिए 10 पैसे (ii ) एक सौ ग्राम से अधिक प्रत्येक अति रिक्त पचास ग्राम या उसके भाग है। लिए
7. पक्षिकाओं बाले पुस्तक पैकेट
(i) प्रथम एक सौ ग्राम या उसके भाग के लिए
0.15 इमके प्रनिरिक्त प्रत्येक 10 ग्राम था उपके भाग के
0.20] लिए 10 पैसे ( ii ) एक सौ ग्राम से अधिक प्रत्येक प्रति- रिक्त पचास ग्राम भौर उसके भाग के लिए
8. रजिस्ट्रीकृत समाचारपत्र
(क ) रजिस्ट्रीकृत समाचात्पत की एक प्रति की कथा में
(i) पचास ग्राम से अनधिक भार के लिए 0.05] इसके अतिरिक्त प्रत्येक 10 ग्राम
0.15 या उसके भाग के (ii ) पचास ग्राम से अधिक किन्तु एक सो ग्राम से अनधिक भार के लिए
लिए 10 पैसे
(iii ) एक सौ ग्राम से मधिक प्रत्येक प्रतिरिक्त एक सौ ग्राम या उसके भाग के लिए 0.10
(ब ) एक ही पैकेट में रजिस्ट्रीकूट समाचारपत्र के एक ही अंक की एक से अधिक प्रतियों की दशा मे:
(i ) एक सौ ग्राम से अधिक भार के लिए 0.15] इसके अतिरिक्त प्रत्येक 10 ग्राम
(ii ) एक सौ प्राम से अधिक प्रत्येक अति- रिक्त एक सी ग्राम या उसके भाग के लिए
0.10 या उसके भाग के लिए 10 पैसे

NOTIFICATION
Now Delhi , the 2nd February , 1983
G.S.R. 49 ( E ) :-- In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10 and 74 of the Indian Post Office Act , 1898 ( 6 of 1898) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Indian Post Office Rules, 1933 , namely :-
1. (1 ) These rules may be called the Indian Post Office (Second Anondmotit) Rules , 1983.
(2) They shall come into force on the first day of March , 1933 .
2. In the Indian Post Office Rules , 1983-
(a) in rule 5, for the existing heading of column 3 of the table the heading "Bhutan and Nepal " shall be sub- stituted;
(b) in rule 5A, -against serial 5 of the table , for the words "Bhutan , Novaland Bangladesh " , the words "Bhutan and Nepal " shall be substituted ;
(c) after rule 5A, the following rule shall be inserted, namely : " 5B . The following rates of postage shall be chargeable on postal articles to Bangladesh where the postage is propaid, namely :-
