ORDER

New Delhi, the 4th February, 1983S.O. 88(E)|18AA|IDRA|83 Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Develop- ment) No. S.O. 70(E)|18AA|IDRA|78 dated the 6th February, 1978 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the whole of the Industrial undertaking known as Messrs Kottayam Textiles Limited, Kottayam, Kerala, 1291 GI/82 (1)

was taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of five years upto and inclusive of the 5th February, 1983, and the Kerala State Textile Corporation Limited was authorised to take-over the management of the said Industrial undertaking;

And, whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public inteiest that the said industrial undertaking should conti- nue under the management of the Kerala State Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and in- clusive of the 5th August, 1983.
