Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government on being requested so to do by Bank of India, establishes with effect from the 4th Feb- ruary, 1983 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Maharashtra under the name of Chandrapur Gadchiroli Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the districts of Chandra- pur and Gadchiroli in the State of Maharashtra.

(Department of Commerce)(Banking Division) NOTIFICATIONS New Delhi, the 31st January, 1983 S.O. 90(E).—In pursuance of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Region- al Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and Bank of India by which Chandrapur Gadchiroli Gramin Bank has been sponsored, specifies Chandrapur as the place S.O. 89(E).—In exercise of the powers confer- red by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional 1292 GI/82 (1)

where Chandrapur Gadchiroli Gramin Bank shall have its head office.

Chandrapur Gadchiroli Gramin Bank, Chandra- pur and specifies the period commencing on 4-2-1983 and ending with the 28-2-1986 as the period for which the said Shri D. D. Parab shall hold office as such Chairman.

S.O. 91 (E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies, for the pur- pose of the said sub-clause, Chandrapur Gadchi- roli Gramin Bank, Chandrapur being an institu- tion established under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).

S.O. 93(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) of sub- section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank, namely :—

"Chandrapur Gadchiroli Gramin Bank,

Chandrapur (Maharashtra)".
