G.S.R. 80(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section ( I) of section 25 of the Custom. Act, 1962 (52 of 1962). the Central Governement, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, heretby exempts Flhylene Dichloride, falling within Chapter 29 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act. 1975 (51- 1975) when imported into India for the manufacture of Polyvinyl Chloride Resins, from the whole of the duty or customs leviable thereon which is specified in the said First Sche- dule- and whole of the additional duty leviable thereon
under Section 3 of the second mentioned Act
2 This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive
of the 31st day of December, 1983
