G.S.R. 100(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neces- sary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 205-Customs, dated the 31st August, 1982, namely ;-
In the said notification—
(a) the words and figure "and the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act" shall bo omitted;

Mib-wction (1) of section 25 of the Custom* Act, 19^2 (<2 o(' 1962), read witb sub-section (4) of section 44 of the Finance Act, '982 (14 of 1982), the Cotml Government, being satisfied trm if Is nncessaiy in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that Ihe notifications of the Gove-nmcnt of India in iht Ministiy of Finance (Dcpaitment of Revenir) specified in column (2) of tho Table hecto annexed shall bt amended in the manner specified in the ciurespt nding ontry in column (3) of the said Table.
