S.O. t47(E). —The President is hereby pleased to withdraw the functions exercisable by the Ctrural Government under the Minimum Wage1; A J I, I94N (11 of 1948;, in so far as such functions relate to Ihe fixation of minimum rates of wages nnd Ihe review and revision of minimum rates so fixed, for em- ployees emplojcd in stone breaking or stone crushing operations carried on in any quarry situated within tlu respective Slates ol Uiliai, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, ICerala, Madras, Ndga- land, Haryana, Mysore, Rajasihan, Assam, Andhra Piadcsh and Gujarat, en- trusted to the Government of the States named above, in excrciso of powers con- ferred by clauie (1) of the Article 258 of the Constitution under Notification hearing S.O. 4296 dated No enber 25, 1968 published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3(ii), dated trie 30lh November, 1968.
