S.O. 148(K).—In exercise of the powers confeircd by sub- section (i) read with clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3D of the Daltnia Dadri Cement Limited (Acquisition and Trans- fer of Undertakings) Act, 1981 (31 of 1981), the Centrnl Government hereby makes the following rules, namely . •—
1. Short title and commencement (1).—These rules may be called the Dulmia Dadri Cement Limited (Acquisition nnd Transfer of Undertakings) (Intimation regarding Mortgage, Charge, Lien or other Interest in any pioperty) Rules, 1983.

(a) "Act' means the Dalmin Dadri Cement Limited (Ac- quisition and Tiansfer of Undertakings) Act, 198J (31 of 1981);

3 Time-limit for intimation —Every mortgagee of ;:ny properly which has vested under the Act in the Central Govf. or in a Government Company, as the case may roc, nnd every person holding any charge, lien or o'her inteicst in, or in relation to, any such property shall give intimation of Mich mortgage, chaige, lien or other interest to the Commis- sioner within a period of ihirty days from s,uch date, as may be specified by the Cential Government under section 17
Provided that if the Commissioner is satisfied that the mortgagee or the person holding any charge, hen or other interest was prevented by sufficient cause fiom giving the intimation within the said period of thirty days, he may, cftcr recording reasons in writing receive thc intimation within .i further peiiod of thirty days and not thereafter
4 Manner of intimation—(1) Evciy intimation to lit given to the Commissioner under rule 3 shall he in writinp; addressed to the Commissioner, and shall contain the following parti- culars, namely :—
(a) Name, description and full addresses of the nioitsagcrl or the person holding thaige, lien or other interest in, or in relation to any such property;
(b) name of thc xinderUklng in respect of which the
claim is made;
(c) amount due under the vnortqa^e, charge, lien oi othei
inteiest (in Tndian currency);
(d) particulars of thc instrument, if any, by which thc mortgage, charge, lien or other interest is secured, supported by an attested copy of the inst'ument,
le) amount, if any, nlieady received, with, nailicuiais;
(f) any other particulms leievant to the CIJITI;
(g) leHef claimed.
(2) Eveiy intimation shall be duly signed and venfisd by the mortgagee, or the person holding the charge, lien oi other interest or by a person duly nuthoi iscJ by him
(3) Intimation may be filed in thc Office of the Commis- sioner at 10, Darya Oanj, New Delhi-110002 on all working days during office hours or may be bent to the Office of the Commissioner by registered post, with acknowledgement due.
