NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 2nd March, 1983
The following notification made by the President of India on the 2nd March, 1983 is published for general information—
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART U—SEC. 3(ii)] functionary, the Central Government shall decide as to who such functionary will be and the decision of the Central Government shall be final. extends to the State of Sikkirn the [ndustiic:. (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951) and all rules, orders including notified orders, directions .ind notifications mfulu thereunder subject to the following modifications, namely;—(1) In section 30, in sub-section (1) of the said enactment the words and commas ", subject to the condition of previous publication," shall be omitted;
(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in the relevant pro- vision, if any, of the said enactment, for txic commencement thereof, the provisions of the said enactment shall come into force in the State of Sikkim on and from the dute of pub- lication of this notification in the Gazette of India.
ZAIL SINOH, ]'iesident 2-3-1981 (2) Any reference in the said enactment to a law not in force or to a functionary not in existence, in the State of Sikkim shall be construed as a reference to the corres- ponding law in force, or to the corresponding functionary in existence, in that State •
