NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 9th March, 1983
S.O. 168(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 109C of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (4 of 1939), the <>ntral Government hereby amends the Solatium Fond Scheme, 1982, namely :—
1. Short title end commencement—(1) This Scheme may be called the
Solatium Fund (Amendment) Scheme, 1983.
(2) It shall be doomed to havo come Into force from the. first day of
October, 1982.
2, In the Solatium Fund Scheme, 1982,—
(i) Clause 13 shall be omitted ;
(ii) In clause 21 after sub-clause (1),
the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :—
"Provided that the Claims Enquiry Officer may entertain the applica- tion after the expiry of the said period of one month, if he is satisfied that the applicant was prevented by sufficient cause from making the application in time".
