NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th March, 1983

G$.R, 266fE).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (I) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes tho following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 91-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1963, namely;—
In the Table below the said notification,—
(a) for entry In column 2 corresponding to the entry "Collector of Customs (Appeals), Bombay" in column 1, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :—
"The States of Maharashtra and Gujarat and the Union territory
of Goa, Daman and Diu.";
(b) for the entry of column 2 corresponding to the entry "Collector of Customs (Appeals), Madras" in column 1, the following entry shall bo substituted, namely:—
"The States, of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh
and the Union territory of Pondicherry."
2. This notification shall come into force with effect from tho 1st April,
1983.
