G.S.R. 272(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by .sub-rule (I) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rides, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in tbs notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of 'Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 63/83-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1983, namely:—
In ih^ Table annexed io the said notification, against S. No. 7, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely: —
"Diesel oil operated internal combustion engines as are of ten horse power and less.".
