S.O. 226(£).—In exercise of the powers cont:i ed by Section 3 or the I-s^n- tiaj. Cojnaioditics Act, 195.S MO of J955), ilit- Central Government hereby makes the following fuuhei jmondmenls in the Drugs (Piice Control) Order, 1979, namely :—•
1. (i) This order may be tailed the Drujjs (Pikes ( omiol) (Mlih Amendment) Order 1983.
(ii) It shttLL come into roice on the dute ol' its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Jn the Druts (Prices Control; Order, 1979—
'A) in Ihc iirsl Schedule, under ihe heading "II bulk drugs used in Cate- gory II formulations", atter S. No. 20, S. Ni. 21 (Ethambutol) shall bo added.
(b) h) under the heading "VIT Anti-tnberculai" entry No, 1 namel) "Fthaimbutol' shall be omitted ..nd the reintiininj; entries shall be renumbered i.e. 1, 2. 1 and 4,
ic) in the third Schedule, under the heading '"Category il luiauilatioos"'.
after entry No. 20, the following shall be added, namely :— '23 Etbsmbtitol preparations".
