Now Delhi, the 28th March, 1983

S.R.O. 19(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to the sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in order to avoid adminis- trative difficulty hereby extends the term of office of all the elected members of Aurangabad Cantonment Board up to 28th September, 1983 or the date of notification of elections of their successors in office in the official gazette, whichever is earlier.
