1976 (21 of 1975), the Central Government on being requested so to do by Allahabad Bank establishes, with effect from the 30th March, 1983 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Uttar Pradesh under the name of Vindhyavasini Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the district of Mirzapur in the State of Uttar Pradesh.

S.O. 248(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (l) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Bank Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) of the Central Government, after consul- tation with the Reserve Bank of India and Allahabad Bank by which Vindhyavasini Gramin Bank has been sponsored specified Mirzapur as the place where Vindhyavasini Gramin Bank shall have its head office.

shall hold office as such Chairman. '

S.O. 249(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India \ct, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies, for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Vindhyavasini (jramin Bank, Mirzapur being an institution established under sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).
