RESOLUTION
New Delhi, the 28th March, 1983
No. 46/2/81-Jus.—The Government of India had set up a three-member Commission with Shri Jaswant Singh as Chairman vide Resolution No. 46/2/81- Jus. dated the 4th September, 1981 to consider all aspects arising out of the demand for constitution of a Bench of the Allahabad High Court for the Western Districts of Uttar Pradesh. The Commission was to submit its report within six months. The term of the Commission was last extended upto 3rd March, 1983 vide Resolution of even number dated 27th September, 1982. The Government of India have resolved to extend its term for a further period of four months. Accordingly, the term of the Commission is extended for a further poiiod of four months and the Commission will submit its report by 3rd July, 1983.
