G.S.R. 288{E).—fn exercise of the powers conferred by sub-item (1) of Item No 3 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and rule 96-F of ihe Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Gov- ernment hereby makes the foUowing further amendments, in the notification of the Government of India in tbe Ministry of Finance (Department of Reve- nue) No. 184/81-CF, dated the 5th November, 1981, namely ;—

In the Table annexed to the said notification:—

(i) against Zone II, in column 2, for the words "Districts of Nowgaon and Kamrup in the State of ARsam;", the words "Districts of Now- gaon, Kamnvp and Barsola Circle in Tezpur sub-division in the State of Assam;'' shall be substituted;

(ii) against Zone IV, the words "Barsola Circle in Tezpur sub-dhision"

shall be omitted.
