G.S.R. 298(E)--In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby males the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 95/81-Central Excises, dated the 1st April, 1981, namely .—

In the said notification, lor the figures, letters, and words "31st March, 1983", the figures, letters and words "31st March, 1984" shall be substituted
