Ivf. Banerjee, Deputv General Manager, tfharat Heavy Electrical Lid., Calcutta, to take over the manugement of the said industrial undertaking;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 738(E)/18AA/IDRA/81, dated the 6th October, 1981, the duration of the said order was fur- ther extended upto and inclusive of the 8th \prjl, 1982 ;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial De- velopment) No. S.O. 263(E)/18AA/IDRA/S2, dated the 8th April, 1982, the duration of the said Order was further extended upto and inclusive of the 8th October, 1982 ;

ORDER

S.O. 282(E)/18AA/TDRA/83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 6O2(E)/18AA/IDRA/74, dated the 9th October, 1974 (hereinafter referred to as the said order) made in exercise of tbe powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Develop- ment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Cential Government authorised a body of persons specified therein to take over the management of M/s. Motor and Machinery Manufacturers Limited, Calcutta, for a period of five years commencing from 9th October, 1974 and the said body of persons was replaced by Shri P. N. Ramachandran, Chief Executive of the said industrial undertaking by order of the Government of India in tbe Ministry of Industry (Depart- ment of Industrial Development) No. SO. 567(E)/18AA/ IDRA/78 dated the 25th September, 1978 ;
And whereas by the Order of the Government of India in tbe Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Deve- lopment) No. S.O. 572(E)/18AA/IDRA/79 dated the 8th October, 1979, the duration of the said order was extended upto and inclusive of tht 8th October, 1981;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial De- velopment) No. S.O. 719(E)/18AA/lDRA/82 dated the 8th October, 1982, the duration of the said Order was further extended upto and inclusive of the 8tb January, 1983 ;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Deve- lopment) No. S.O. 8(E)/18AA/lDRA/83 dated the 7th January, 1983, the deration of tbe said Order was further extended upto and inclusive of the 8th April, 1983 ;
And, whereas the Central Government is of tbe opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said order should continue to have effect for a further period of six months;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA read with proviso to sub- section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Gov- ernment hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 8th October, 1983.
